    Into her 36nd year of teaching singing, Cate Frazier-Neely remains passionate, curious and committed to helping her students develop and use their voices authentically. She began working in a holistic and functional manner in 1980, and helps her students deepen the expression of their musical spirit. She currently works with professional, post-graduate and committed amateur singers in classical, musical theater and popular music, as well as voice-over artists in media.While working with Cate, students have earned Broadway roles, national musical theater and Kennedy Center musical theater tours, signed contracts with Cirque de Soleil and Disney Tokyo, Helen Hayes award nominations and Cinderella awards, appeared on The X Factor, sung in equity productions at Signature Theater, Arena Stage, Studio Theater, The Washington National Opera and WNO Children’s Chorus, Ford’s Theater, Olney Theater, Theater Alliance of Washington, Imagination Stage, night clubs and jazz venues, participated in many Baltimore/Washington area auditioned choral groups and work as paid and lay singers in houses of worship.Currently, her private studio is made up of professional singers and Somatic Voice Work tm: the Lovetri Method Educators, singers with advanced academic degrees in voice, music education and theater. She has worked with classes, ensembles and choirs of middle school and elementary school age singers as well as senior citizens, and is experienced in advising high school seniors and their parents how to prepare for college auditions in the vocal performing arts.
