Kath Williams’s path with Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method began at QLD Conservatorium of Music in 2011, where she discovered Jeanie’s work through research and study during her Masters In Vocal Pedagogy and Contemporary Performance. “So much of what I read really resonated with me, so I jumped at the opportunity to start studying with Somatic Voicework™ then to attend two Institutes in Australia in 2017 and 2019. Somatic Voicework™ has given me such understanding and connection to my own singing, and gave me so many answers and insights to the art of teaching singing – to a depth I could never have imagined, completing my Faculty training in 2024.”

Kath has a nursing background and a special interest in Yoga, Feldenkrais, Vocal Health and rehabilitation and the role of Wellness in Voice and has studied extensively in this area.

She has spent many years singing in bands, and is teaching exclusively in her thriving independent studio, catering to CCM singers of all ages and experience levels, with a focus on community music and singing and the benefit of Healthy Singing in the community. Kath directs two community choirs in her regional area for adults loving the transformative experience that singing is bringing to their lives.
