Moran Cohen Talmor’s view of singing is deeply rooted in a mind-body approach. Having been a professional singer since her teen years, releasing two solo albums and performing as the lead singer in “Both Sides – A Joni Mitchel Tribute,” Moran also has an extended background practicing martial-arts, yoga, swimming, hydrotherapy and Paula technique. As a singing teacher, Somatic Voicework™ naturally resonated well with these disciplines.
Moran has been studying Somatic Voicework™ for the past nine years, has been the official representative in Israel, and has trained over 100 voice teachers through her courses, which are based on the principles of Somatic Voicework™The LoVetri Method.
“One Voice Project,” Moran’s latest venture is a one-year professional training program for the singing voice. It is both pedagogical and entrepreneurial by nature, aiming to use vocal education as a multicultural bridge in a conflict-ridden region. This course is adapted to the local Mediterranean musical styles and is a new and innovative way of bringing not only the principles of Somatic Voicework™, but also the heart and soul of the method.
