Sofia is a professional singer and educator from Brazil and currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from the New England Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies and Performance, where she had the opportunity to study and collaborate with some of the best musicians and educators.
She always encourages her students to be inspired and comfortable with their voices. Sofia combines her conservatory training, composer creativity and performing abilities to inspire the inner musician in each and every one of her students.
After graduating from NEC, Sofia started taking private lessons with Jeanie LoVetri, who deeply inspired her to get certified in Somatic Voicework™ – The LoVetri Method.
Sofia has worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds offering her voice sessions and she created The Workshop, where she uses a combination of frameworks, meditations, and embodiment practices to help individuals connect with their voices and emotions, and to
externalize them in healthy manners. She has facilitated The Workshop for individuals and groups in the US, Brazil, Costa Rica and Portugal.

very young. She started piano lessons when she was 5, and voice training when she was 9 years old.
She graduated from the New England Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies and Performance, where she had the opportunity to study and collaborate with some of the best musicians and educators.
