NYU unionized the adjuncts a few years ago, against objections from the University. The teachers picked the UAW instead of the UFT. As far as I know, absolutely nothing changed after unionizing except now the adjuncts have to pay annual union dues. Very sad, Sarah, and I agree with you 100% about your comment.
