It is a medium size studio, lessons are in two locations. I teach both advanced, intermediate and beginner children and teens, and adult advanced or recreational singers. Currently, the age range in the studio is from 9 to 55+! Preparation for entry into university music programs, RCM exams or other conservatory exams programs is offered through individual arrangement. Coaching and/or assessments for auditions also offered. Students are leads and chorus members in their high musical theatre programs, singer-songwriters, choral singers, soloists in their church worship teams, and Gr. 7 and 8 RCM grads. Other students have been accepted to Douglas and UVic Bachelor of Music programs.I regularly work to keep my knowledge up to date and expand my teaching and singing skills. I'm a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and regularly attend their conferences, and am a board member for the Vancouver Chapter.

I believe that singing and music should be for a life-time! My first goal is to foster healthy singing, my second goal to help people meet their musical goals. I have a Masters of Music in Opera Performance (UBC) and also trained in masterclasses at the Orford School of Music in Quebec, and at NUOVA in Edmonton AB. I have performed professionally in the opera, recital and concert setting in the Vancouver area. I have also sung country-rock and blues since my teens and done a bit of songwriting. I have been teaching for 14+ years part-time, and over 6 years full-time, and also adjudicate at music festivals in BC.
