Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method Teachers' Association

The LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework™

Announcing November-December Webinar Series “THIS IS YOUR BODY ON SINGING”

October 29, 2022 By svwadmin

THIS IS YOUR BODY ON SINGING – A Somatic Voicework™ Webinar Series

Dates: Mondays, November 21, 28, December 5, 12
Times: 6:00-8:00 PM EST
Cost: $150/$200 USD ($150 USD for Somatic Voicework™ graduates of at least Level I; $200 USD for those who have not completed any of their Somatic Voicework™ levels. $50 USD COVID-19 discount already applied to both totals)

Week I: Breathing (November 21)
There’s a strong emphasis in singing training on “breathing.” Every singing teacher has their own approach. Why are there so many? Which one works? What’s best? Come see!

Week II – Brain/Body, Voice/Body, Musicality/Artistry (November 28)
Your artistry is created by the fluid use of both your body and your mind. Your brain must know and understand how to generate the sounds you want to make. Each aspect is equally important. Join us.

Week III – The Voice Inside-Out/Outside-In (December 5) with Surprise Special Guest!
Should we think about the sound as it goes out into the world around us or should we think about how we create it in our throats? Either way works. Is one approach better? Let’s take a look.

Week IV – What Is Embodied Singing? (December 12)
When we feel safe and secure in our bodies, we are comfortable. Controlling the body allows us to sing freely. That connection comes from sensory awareness, cultivated as part of singing training. It’s vital.

Please note: due to the nature of this course, refunds cannot be given under any circumstances.
