Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method Teachers' Association

Announcing “Vocal Exercises Uncovered: A Webinar Series”

April 5, 2022 By svwadmin

Jeanie LoVetri breaks down the scientific underpinnings of vocal exercises. Why do they work? How do they work? When should you use/which ones?

As always, for those who cannot complete the webinar series in real-time, all participants can complete the course at their own leisure. All participants will have access to the video archive for 12 months from the final day of the course.

Week I (April 25) – What’s in a Vocal Exercise?

Jeanie LoVetri breaks down the scientific underpinnings of vocal exercises. Why do they work? How do they work?

A traditional academic-style lecture will be followed by a practical exploration of the work with Jeanie demonstrating with members of her Somatic Voicework™ Faculty.

Week II (May 2) – Exercises Under A Microscope

One of the most common requests is to watch Jeanie teach and have her narrate step-by-step what she is hearing and why she is choosing each specific exercise.

This webinar will feature Jeanie LoVetri working with one or two singers and narrating step-by-step her thought process as she moves from exercise to exercise.

Week III (May 9) – Vocal Training for Developing Artists

Vocal exercises, vocal fitness regimes, and training plans differ based on the demographic of students a teacher is working with. This webinar will explore working with children, high school and college-aged students.

A traditional academic-style lecture will be followed by a practical exploration of the work with Jeanie demonstrating with student volunteers.

Week IV (May 16) – Vocal Training for Professional Artists

Why should advanced professionals continue to take lessons? This webinar will explore the vocal demands and training regimes for professional singers, and how a voice teacher best serves professional singers.

A traditional academic-style lecture will be followed by a practical exploration of the work with Jeanie demonstrating with two elite professional singers.

Dates: Mondays April 25, May 2, 9, & 16, 2022

Cost: $200/$250 USD for those who’ve already completed at least Level I of their Somatic Voicework™ training; $250 USD for those new to Somatic Voicework™.

For those who cannot complete the webinar series in real-time, all participants will have access to the video archive for 12 months from the final day of the course.

Please note: refunds cannot be offered for this course under any circumstance.
