My qualifications include the LTCL in Singing (2005), LMusA in Singing (2013), a Bachelor of Arts (1986), a Diploma in Education (1987) and a Graduate Diploma in Special Education (1992). I have effectively prepared many students for auditions, exams, and competitions.
To keep up-to-date with the latest developments in vocal pedagogy, I attend conferences and workshops organised by leading organisations such as ANATS and VMTA. I have also completed level 3 advanced teacher training, with Vocal Process, Levels 1 and 2 in Estill Training training, Somatic VoiceWork Levels 1 - 3, Neuro-Vocal Method and Level 1 Kodaly Secondary Methodology, Repertoire, and Teaching and Level 4 Musicianship. In addition, I have been studying contemporary vocal techniques with Craig Tompkins and Meredith Colby and classical voice with Dr Susannah Foulds-Elliott and Julie Edwardson.
Having taught students of all ages and abilities, I have a strong background in classical and contemporary vocal techniques. I am confident in teaching students of all ages and abilities. I am passionate about music and teaching and committed to helping my students reach their full potential.
