My studio has a spinet piano, CD Recorder; copier, air conditioning; lap top and a huge volume of music.The studio is easily accessible by public transportation in New York City with no more than 30 minute travel time from any direction in the city.

Ms. Surkin is a private voice instructor in the Musical Theater Department of Marymount Manhattan College, Collaborative Arts 21 (CAP21) and Lighthouse International as well as a private studio. My students have performed on Broadway and Regional Companies. In addition to studying the Somatic Voiceworks, I have interned with two speech pathologist, Dr. Anat Keidar and Dr. Linda Carroll at Roosevelt Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital respectively. There, I observed patients with various pathologies created by a combination of misuse and/or disease. I've also been on the Board of Directors of the New York Singing Teachers Association (NYSTA) for many years.
