My studio is comprised of ages 10-75, beginner to professional. School aged students explore a wide range of CCM styles including pop and musical theatre. Adults students tend to be more tailored to their specific goals (singer/songwriter, worship singer, musical theatre, crossover singing, harmony, etc). I hold 2 performances each year (Winter and Spring) and school-aged students have the option to participate in music festivals and talent shows during the year.I partner with churches, offering a variety of workshops to equip singers with basic vocal technique, ear training, and stage presence.

I've been teaching voice for about 15 years and have about 25 years of performing experience. I completed a Master of Music Studies in Contemporary Vocal Pedagogy from Griffith University (2011, Brisbane, Australia) where I studied with Dr. Irene Bartlett, CCM specialist. I received my Somatic Voicework certification in July 2015 and am practicing this method in my studio.I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Worship Ministry (Briercrest College, Saskatchewan , Canada) and have served in several church music positions including Music Director and Pastor of Worship Arts.I now combine my extensive experience with contemporary worship music and vocal pedagogy to partner with churches, offering vocal workshops to equip singers in vocal technique, harmony, and leadership.I have Grade 10 piano (Royal Conservatory of Canada) and have completed RCM theory requirements in History and Harmony. I am a member of NATS and involved in the local NATS Calgary chapter. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy singing and leading a band at my church as well as coordinating the music ministry there. I am involved in small recording projects, and sing and play piano for special events in the greater Calgary area.
