Rossini Voice Studio offers vocal lessons to students of all ages and levels from beginners to students preparing for college auditions. Taking a lesson should be an enriching and enjoyable experience. I have a holistic approach to teaching voice focusing on three key areas: freedom of tension in the body to facilitate proper alignment and breath, coordinating the 2 vocal registers and attention to pure vowels. Most importantly the voice is your own natural gift developing this unique instrument is a wonderful journey of exploration. It would be my pleasure to guide you through this journey.

I holds a Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degree in Music Education from Manhattanville College. Recently retired after 32 years of teaching vocal music for the Somers Central School District in New York, where I enjoyed instructing students of all ages in musical theater, chorus, children's theater and NYSSMA preparation. In March of 2010 I had the privilege of conducting WSCMA Intermediate Chorus at the annual Choral Festival held at SUNY Purchase, Purchase NY.I am a classically trained soprano and have appeared as a soloist with churches and in concert series throughout Westchester County, New York. In 2004 I had the pleasure of performing a solo recital of American Song and Opera as part of the Caramoor Center for the Arts Performers’ Showcase Series in Katonah, New York. Most recently I appeared with Collegium Westchester as a featured artist for the 15th Anniversary Concert, singing Samuel Barber’s beautiful Knoxville: Summer of 1915 for Soprano and Orchestra. It has always been important for me to develop both as an vocal artist and teacher. In addition to my teaching credentials, I am a certified EFT practitioner, AAMET level II . EFT is a type of acupressure that calms the central nervous system. It is extremely effective in assisting students who suffer with performance anxiety.
