As a vocal instructor I support the goals of the individual singer of all levels and concentrate on functional training as it applies to a wide variety of genres. In addition to teaching private lessons, I stage showcases for my students, place students in community performance opportunities, such as sporting events and musical roles in theater as well as prepare students for Broadway camps in N.Y., entrance to performing arts schools and colleges and All State Chorus. I also coach participants for auditions for American Idol and The Voice and work with students interested in songwriting. In addition, I produce student vocal demos in professional recording studios,

Julie is a professional singer, songwriter, vocal and piano coach and seasoned recording artist with a Masters Degree in Music and 30 years experience teaching in private studio and classroom settings.Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Music and a Masters of Science for Teachers degree in Piano/Voice. She has also studied voice with Elizabeth Howard of Los Angeles and is certified in Levels I, II and III of Somatic Voicework Training with Jeanette LoVetri Julie has taught piano and directed numerous choral and theater ensembles and stage productions in public and private schools.
