Jarika Olberg is a 2011 graduate of Plymouth State University, receiving her BS in Music Education, and is a certified SomaticVoicework™ instructor. Ms. Olberg is an experienced K-12 and adult educator, having taught voice, chorus, general music, and drama at San Pablo Elementary School in Jacksonville Beach, Florida (K-5) and Waynflete School in Portland, Maine (2-12). Jarika has also served as the assistant conductor for the Portland Community Chorus in Portland, Maine. She has taught private voice throughout southern Maine and New Hampshire, and was selected as a 2012 Teacher Leader for the Maine Department of Education’s Maine Arts Assessment Initiative, providing professional development workshops for both educators and pre-service teachers. Jarika is passionate about working with singers of all ages and talents, capturing their unique spirit while focusing on the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and voice.

Many are heads of departments in voice at universities and conservatories, published authors of books, research papers and pedagogy articles in voice and music journals.

Many are acknowledged professionally as singers, having performed in major venues in all styles of music all over the world.
