Everyone can learn how to sing. We can all learn how to develop our voices in a healthy way and then use it to the best of our abilities. I approach the voice from a functional, holistic perspective using Somatic Voicework™ principles. I strive to teach my students how to care for and nurture their instruments and eventually teach themselves. This is why I take the time to explain each exercise and why it is done, to treat each student as an individual with their own needs, strengths, and weaknesses, and to teach voice not as a separate mysterious entity but as part of a healthy living instrument. I accept students at all levels of study, ages 8 and up (younger students may be accepted on a case-by-case basis).
