I teach at the Community College of Baltimore County, Catonsville campus (800 South Rolling Rd, Catonsville, MD). I welcome all levels of students and am here to address all your needs.

Rebecca Ocampo, soprano, has performed extensively in opera, oratorio, and musical theater. As an assistant professor and program coordinator for the music program at the Catonsville campus, she revels in the spirit of community college teaching. The many companies that she has performed with include: The Washington Opera, The Baltimore Opera Company, Skylight Opera Theater, Florentine Opera Company, Lyric Opera Cleveland, Brevard Music Center and Maryland Opera Studio, Washington Concert Opera, and the INSeries. Dr. Ocampo has been a Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Finalist. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County; and Masters of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park as well as being a Certified Level III Somatic Voice teacher in Somatic Voicework™ (SVW) The LoVetri Method, which is a body-based system of training for Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM). Previous teaching experience includes St. Mary’s College of Maryland; University of Maryland, College Park; and George Washington University.

Many are acknowledged professionally as singers, having performed in major venues in all styles of music all over the world.
